Adam Bobroff
Co-CEO & Founder
A proactive, passionate leader with over 20 years of experience as a Trader and company Director, Adam is responsible for the smooth running of all operations and the future direction of Foreign Currency Partners.
After successfully building a previous Foreign Exchange firm with Co-CEO Robin from seed to sale, Adam has the drive and ambition to do it again with FCP, aiming to inspire the team through his own experience and work ethic to deliver exceptional results for clients.
Outside of work Adam enjoys rugby, padel, the gym and spending time with family & friends. Adam is of French heritage and therefore enjoys spending time in France where he has personal experience of buying and selling property abroad.
Robin McEwen
Co-CEO & Founder
Robin has over 25 years of experience in the constantly changing and evolving FinTech sector. A strong, charismatic leader, driven by a proactive work ethos, his goal is to inspire, guide and empower his team to deliver the best foreign exchange solutions for his clients.
Robin previously built a Foreign Exchange Brokerage which was successfully acquired by a leading competitor. He is now driven to achieve even more with FCP, helping clients to exceed their expectations through their customer journey.
Outside of work, Robin enjoys rugby, tennis, squash and the gym whilst also spending time with his family and friends.
Tom Taylor
Dealing Director & Head of Private FX
Tom brings over 15 years of experience in foreign exchange and payment services, with a strong background spanning broking, risk management, and treasury functions.
He has extensive knowledge of the European buying and selling process, alongside deep expertise in the US and Australian markets, giving clients valuable insight when navigating international transactions.
As head of our private client division, he leads the team in delivering cutting-edge solutions alongside market-leading, personalised service. Tom also oversees our partnership programme, ensuring clients and partners alike benefit from a seamless and high-quality experience.
Joe Mayhew
Dealing Director & Head of Corporate FX
Joe has well over a decade’s experience in foreign exchange and payments services. Joe prides himself on playing an integral role in assisting his clients with their foreign exchange needs. Whether it is navigating foreign property markets or Risk Management and Treasury Solutions for Corporates, Joe leverages Foreign Currency Partners’ Market leading service and technology to deliver a bespoke experience.
In the Foreign Exchange and Payment Services industry Joe has held the positions of: Senior Currency Broker, Head of Asia-Pacific FX and was a Director at Cawdor FX before being part of the founding Foreign Currency Partners team.
Joe Holds a BA (Hons) in English from Loughborough University and Diploma in Economics from the Loughborough University School of Business and Economics.
Andrew Johnston
Head of Compliance and MLRO
Andrew oversees Foreign Currency Partners’ AML & Compliance Framework, leveraging the regulatory expertise and insight amassed from his years as a Governance, Risk & Compliance Consultant. Specialising in Payments and E-Money regulation, Andrew’s experience has enabled him to develop in-depth expertise across the core pillars which underpin the regulated financial services sector, ranging from financial crime prevention to prudential regulation. Andrew’s knowledge of the regulatory environment and industry best practice, combined with his results-focused commitment to delivering innovative compliance solutions, enables Foreign Currency Partners to operate a compliant-by-design model.
Beyond his industry experience, Andrew is committed to ongoing development. Most recently, Andrew obtained a Master of Laws degree (with Commendation) from the School of Law at the Queen’s University of Belfast, which sits alongside his ICA International Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering (with Distinction), and CISI Diploma in Investment Compliance (with Merit).
